U.S. Women's Amateur Sunday: Song Wins Seesaw Battle of Jennifers over Johnson

Jennifer Johnson continued her amazing run at the U.S. Women's Amateur for the 1st 10 holes today, winning the 5th, 6th, 9th and 10th to go 4-up on Jennifer Song. But Song came roaring back, pulling back to all square by the end of the morning round and building a 3-up lead on the front 9 in the afternoon round. Johnson wasn't done, though. She won 10, 11, and 12 to bring the match back to all square, where it stood after 32 holes. But Song went -1 over the next 3 holes and Johnson went +2, and, before you could say "Pearl Sinn," Song found herself the concurrent champion of both the Women's Amateur Public Links and the U.S. Women's Amateur (she was also low amateur at the U.S. Women's Open). Check out David Shefter's live blog for the hole-by-hole play-by-play.
